Xuyi Botu Attapulgite Clay Hi-tech Development Co., Ltd. is an enterprise of high and new technology with the integration of Research&Development, and production of attapulgite, listed in the membership of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association. Established in 2002, Botu is located in the town of attapulgite minerals-Xuyi, with the investment of more than 20 million RMB and annul production capacity of over 10000 tons. Botu established Jiangsu Province Attapulgite Clay Engineering and Technical Research Center with the technical support of Nanjing University and Jiangsu Provincial Research Academy of Geologic Survey. The center has a technical committee which is composed of 9 national exports, professors and researchers and a senior technical staff of 19 people, such as doctors, masters, advanced engineer and so on. The center is the first test base geared to the scientific research of attapulgite clay. From 2002, the center has developed desiccant for insulating glass, desiccant for cargo, desiccant for electronics, rewarded as “National Spark Project” and “National torch Project”. Botu has passed ISO9001 and ISO14001 Quality and Environmental Systems certification, rewarded as “Honest Enterprise”& “Famous brand of Huai’an City”. Botu keeps dedicating to the green adsorbent, Botu desiccant for insulating glass, desiccant for packing(food, garment, furniture)，desiccant for electronics, all these has been certificated under the toxic experiments under Rohs, DMF, SVHC by SGS. Botu is the first one to apply attapulgite into the field of desiccant and the first one to apply the attapulgite desiccant into the field of the insulating glass. Furthermore, Botu is the only enterprise of attapulgite industry to take part in to draw up “Industrial Standard of Desiccant for Insulating Glass” and “Material Platform”. Botu desiccant for insulating glass is the only attapulgite desiccant to pass the test of European Standard (EN-1279-2002). Botu products have been exported to Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, India, Singapore, Turkey, Russia and some other countries. Botu is listed in the outline of “Industry of New Material”, as the leader, in 2009-2012.
